(Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz were defeated by the San Antonio Spurs, 87-78, on Monday at the SBC Center.
Matt Harpring led the Jazz with 11 points. Carlos Arroyo, Andrei Kirilenko and Jarron Collins each contributed 10 points for Utah, which fell to 0-3 on the road this season. The Jazz are 4-0 at home during the current campaign.
Utah committed 22 turnovers and shot 40.8 percent from the field.
The Jazz were 2-of-8 from beyond the arc.
Monday was David Robinson night in San Antonio. Robinson, the Spurs’ all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocked shots, steals and games played, helped the club to a pair of championships during his 14 years in San Antonio. His No. 50 jersey was raised to the rafters in a postgame ceremony hosted by former teammates Steve Kerr and Sean Elliott.
The Jazz are off until Wednesday when they travel to New Orleans to take on the Hornets in the second of a four-game road trip.
