(Basketball News) - The Washington Wizards lost to the Phoenix Suns, 101-95, on Monday at America West Arena.
Larry Hughes poured in 32 points and Gilbert Arenas added 30 for the Wizards, who have lost 14 of their last 15 at Phoenix.
Washington, which finished 1-4 on its five-game road trip, fell to 9-18 versus the Western Conference. The Wizards were without guard Jerry Stackhouse because of personal reasons.
The Wizards are off until Wednesday when they host the New Jersey Nets. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. Washington is 0-3 against the Nets.
Hughes has scored in double digits in five straight games. He has averaged 23 points over that span.
