East Rutherford, NJ (Basketball News) - The New Jersey Nets return home tonight after a five-game road trip and welcome Pau Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies to Continental Airlines Arena.

Richard Jefferson led the Nets in scoring with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Jason Kidd chipped in with 15 points and dished out five assists for the Nets.

Kenyon Martin added 10 points and Kerry Kittles managed just seven points in 28 minutes for the Nets, who have lost three games in a row.

New Jersey’s Jason Collins contributed 10 points against Utah.

The Nets are 2-5 at home this season.

Memphis will attempt to finish 3-0 on its current three-game road trip.

Gasol scored 19 points to lead the Grizzlies to a 96-89 win over the Boston Celtics on Monday at the FleetCenter.

Lorenzen Wright posted 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Grizzlies, while Shane Battier and Stromile Swift each chipped in 12 for Memphis, which had six players in double figures.

James Posey added 11 points and Mike Miller contributed 10 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the win.

Memphis improved to 8-8, marking the latest point in a season in team history that the Grizzlies have had at least a .500 record.

Memphis guard Jason Williams (back) did not play against Boston.

Williams is expected to play in tonight’s game.

The Grizzlies are 5-5 as the visitor this season.

In 2002-03, the teams split two games as each club won on its homecourt.

Overall, New Jersey has won four of the last five meetings between the two squads.

The Grizzlies have lost three straight at New Jersey.
