(Basketball News) - Kenyon Martin posted 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead New Jersey to a 99-88 win over Phoenix on Saturday at Continental Airlines Arena.
Richard Jefferson added 18 points and 11 points, while Jason Kidd contributed 17 points and nine assists for the Nets, who scored 14 straight points in the fourth quarter to notch their second straight victory.
After the Suns overcame a 15-point deficit to take the lead, 86-85, with 4:36 to play, the Nets ran off 14 unanswered points to take control of the contest.
The contest was played before a sparse crowd for a second straight night because of a snowstorm. The attendance was announced as 14,639, but the actual turnout was closer to 5,000.
New Jersey will return to the court on Tuesday when they host the Seattle SuperSonics.
