New Orleans Hornets Team Report - March 14

(Basketball News) - Baron Davis had 24 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists to lead the New Orleans Hornets over the Golden State Warriors, 102-84, on Saturday at the New Orleans Arena.

Stacey Augmon netted a season-high 21 points and Jamaal Magloire posted 18 points and 10 boards for the Hornets, who bounced back from a loss in Houston on Thursday to improve to 22-12 at home this season.

New Orleans is one-half game in front of Milwaukee for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Davis has averaged 29 points, eight rebounds and 6.7 assists in his last three games.

The Hornets are off until Tuesday when they visit the Miami Heat. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two teams. New Orleans is 1-2 against the Heat this season.
