Last season, Seattle surprised the league with a 52-30 record and captured the Northwest Division title. The Sonics won their first division title since 1997-98, when they went 61-21 and won its third consecutive Pacific Division crown.
On Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks play the middle contest of a three-game road trip when they visit the SuperSonics at KeyArena. It is the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On February 14th, Redd poured in 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, as the Bucks knocked off the SuperSonics, 106-91, at the Bradley Center.
Milwaukee has lost five straight and 13 of its last 14 at Seattle.
Seattle attempts to bounce back from a tough loss against the Bucks. On Tuesday, Ron Artest poured in a season-high 34 points as the Sacramento Kings knocked off the SuperSonics, 105-96, at ARCO Arena.
All-Star Ray Allen paced Seattle with 23 points and seven rebounds in the loss to Sacramento. Chris Wilcox ended with 16 points and 19 boards, while Rashard Lewis netted 15 for the Sonics, who have dropped two of their last three games overall.
The SuperSonics are 16-17 at home this season.
Allen leads the Sonics in scoring (25.0 ppg). He has scored in double-digits in 61 of the 62 games he has played in this season. The Connecticut product is averaging 26.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists in his last 10 outings. The 6-5 Allen has played 40 or more minutes in five straight games.
Seattle has scored over 100 points in seven of its last 10 games and is 5-5 in that span.
