(Basketball News) - Orlando lost Friday when Vince Carter converted a fade-away jumper with 12.5 seconds to go to lift Toronto to an 87-86 win over the Magic at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Tracy McGrady registered 31 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter, and eight rebounds for the Magic, who have lost 15 straight, their second longest streak in franchise history. Juwan Howard added 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Donnell Harvey finished with 11 points for the Magic, who dropped their ninth straight home game
Orlando lost a franchise-record 17 straight games from December 4, 1991 to January 7, 1992.
The Magic are off until Tuesday when they host Baron Davis and the New Orleans Hornets in the first of a home-and-home set.
