(Basketball News) - The Philadelphia 76ers continued their slide on Wednesday evening, as they were pounded, 110-78, by the streaking Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
Allen Iverson scored 21 points with eight assists to lead the 76ers, who have dropped three straight.
Marc Jackson added 17 points and Corliss Williamson scored 14 in defeat.
The Bulls took control of the game with an 11-2 run early in the third quarter, stretching a four-point lead to 13 at 57-44. Luol Deng and Eddy Curry scored the final six points of the spurt with consecutive three-point plays.
Chicago’s lead reached as high as 18 three times in the period, and topped out at 36 in the fourth quarter.
The Sixers will return home for Friday’s contest against the Toronto Raptors.
