(Basketball News) - The Philadelphia 76ers visit Vince Carter and the Toronto Raptors tonight at Air Canada Centre.
This is the third contest of the season between the two teams. The 76ers defeated the Raptors, 81-75, on November 19, 2003 at Air Canada Centre, while the Raptors beat Philadelphia, 95-88, on December 2, 2003 at the Wachovia Center.
Philadelphia, which comes into tonight’s game on a three-game losing streak, is expected to play its second straight game without All-Star guard Allen Iverson.
Iverson is suffering from a sprain of the ulnar collateral ligament. The Georgetown product has already missed 13 games this season because of injury. Philadelphia is 5-8 without its All-Star guard this season.
On Tuesday, Philadelphia got crushed by the New Jersey Nets, 94-76, at the Wachovia Center. Rookie Willie Green led the 76ers with a career-high 20 points.
Eric Snow finished with 13 points for the Sixers, who have lost six of their last seven games. Philadelphia turned the ball over 23 times in the loss to New Jersey.
Snow has averaged 11.5 points and seven assists in the last two games.
The 76ers, who have lost two of their last three as the visitor, are 9-14 on the road this season.
