Portland has lost four straight and nine of its last 10 at Utah. The Jazz, who have won four in a row and five of six in this series, lead the division by 3 1/2 games over the Denver Nuggets.
The Jazz try and bounce back from a bad loss. On Thursday, Tony Parker scored 22 points as the San Antonio Spurs pounded Utah, 106-83, for their 15th straight home win over the Jazz at the AT&T Center.
Deron Williams and Gordan Giricek both scored 11 points in the loss to San Antonio for the Jazz, who have split their last eight games overall. Mehmet Okur and Paul Millsap netted 10 apiece in defeat.
Utah, which hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, is 12-2 at home this season.
Meanwhile, the Blazers have lost three of their last four games, including Friday’s 98-95 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers at The Rose Garden.
Brandon Roy scored 15 points and grabbed five boards and Zach Randolph added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Blazers. Ime Udoka had 12 points and Juan Dixon and Jarrett Jack each recorded 11 points in the setback.
Portland, which is eight games off the lead in the Northwest Division, owns a 6-9 mark as the visitor this season.
