Portland’s Randolph arrested on DUI 12.2.2003
|
The 6-foot-9 power forward was stopped by police in North Portland. Randolph was released from the county justice center and is facing a misdemeanor charge that could be punishable by up to one year in prison or a fine between $1,000 and $5,000.
Randolph’s play has been a big positive for the Blazers this season. The former Michigan State star has scored 20 or more points in nine of Portland’s 17 games this season.
Randolph’s arrest is the latest in a long line of Trail Blazers who have had off the court problems.
Most recently, Bonzi Wells was suspended for two games and stripped of his captaincy following a heated argument with head coach Maurice Cheeks. Blazers point guard Damon Stoudamire is facing drug charges for his arrest at an Arizona airport before the season began.
