Ricky Davis Hopes to Return to Miami Heat

A potentially historically bad season for the Heat apparently hasn’t soured forward Ricky Davis on re-signing with the team.

Davis, whose contract is set to expire after the season, said he remains agreeable to a return to the Heat.

"They will get the first look," Davis said before the Heat set an NBA record for fewest field goals made in the shot clock era with 17 in its 88-62 loss to the Celtics Sunday night. "I know it will not be like this next year." [Sun-Sentinel]
