Rockets place Lue on injured list

Houston, TX (Basketball News) - The Houston Rockets placed guard Tyronn Lue on the injured list with a sore right knee prior to Thursday’s overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Lue has appeared in 16 games this season for the Rockets, including three starts, and has averaged 6.4 points and 3.3 assists per contest.

In 299 career games with the Lakers, Washington, Orlando and Houston, Lue has posted averages of 7.9 points and 3.2 assists per outing.

Meanwhile, the club activated guard Reece Gaines from the injured list. Gaines saw his first action of the season, scoring two points in 15 minutes versus Dallas.
