Rockets win without McGrady

Houston, TX (Basketball News) - Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady missed Monday night’s game against the Orlando Magic due to a medical emergency in his family, but his team was still able to pick up an 89-78 victory at the Toyota Center.

Ryan Bowen started in McGrady’s place and finished with two points and three rebounds in 15 minutes of action.

The 25-year-old McGrady is averaging 25.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 39 games this season.

Team officials are not certain when McGrady will return.
