Rose set to sign with Suns

Phoenix, AZ (Basketball News) - Veteran swingman Jalen Rose reported on his web site that he has accepted an offer to join the Phoenix Suns.

Rose and the New York Knicks recently agreed on a $14.5 million buyout, giving the former Michigan standout his free agency.

Rose averaged 12.7 points in 26 games for the Knicks last season after being acquired from the Toronto Raptors. In 12 career NBA seasons, he has tallied 14.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game in stints with Denver, Indiana, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
