=== Sacramento Kings Team Report - December 6 ===

(Basketball News) - The Kings improved to 12-5 on the season, as they rebounded from a terrible first quarter and defeated the Boston Celtics, 119-105, on Sunday at ARCO Arena. Sacramento got a big game from its frontcourt in the victory over the Celtics. Center Brad Miller finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings, while forwards Peja Stojakovic scored a game-high 27 points and Chris Webber netted 18 and pulled down 10 boards in the victory.

After getting outscored 36-18 in the first 12 minutes of the contest, Sacramento re-grouped and trimmed Boston’s advantage to eight at the half, 63-55. The Kings came out of the locker room and blitzed the Celtics, outscoring them 38-17 in the third stanza to take a 13-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Sacramento’ starting point guard Mike Bibby played a team-high 39 minutes and registered 15 points to go along with a game-high 10 assists, while forward Darius Songaila came off the bench and contributed 14 points and seven rebounds in 19 minutes of action.

Miller has registered consecutive double-doubles and is averaging 15.4 points and 8.3 rebounds this season.

The Kings are off until Tuesday when they host the expansion Charlotte Bobcats. It is the first-ever regular-season contest between the two clubs. Charlotte is scheduled to host the Kings on March 1, 2005.
