(Basketball News) - The Sacramento Kings were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks, 108-99, on Sunday at American Airlines Center.
Peja Stojakovic led all players with 24 points and added 10 boards for Sacramento, which has dropped three of four since a five-game winning streak. Mike Bibby chipped in 23 points and Brad Miller scored 11 with a game-high 17 rebounds.
Dallas held a slim 76-75 lead entering the fourth quarter, and later led by as many as eight in the stanza, but allowed the Kings to pull even at 97-97 late in the game.
However, the Mavericks outscored Sacramento 11-2 over the final two minutes of play for the win. Steve Nash scored the final six points for Dallas, all from the free throw line, and Dirk Nowitzki added a key three-point play.
Sacramento fell to 9-2 in Sunday games this season.
Miller is averaging 13.3 rebounds over the last three games.
The Kings are off until Wednesday when they visit Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets.
