(Basketball News) - Doug Christie and Peja Stojakovic each poured in a game- high 22 points in leading the Sacramento Kings to a 120-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday at ARCO Arena.
Mike Bibby and Brad Miller added 21 points apiece for the Kings, who won their third straight game and 10th in the last 12. Miller also grabbed 16 rebounds to post a double-double.
Chris Webber rebounded from his woeful 2-of-21 shooting performance Tuesday night against Golden State with 16 points and eight boards in the winning effort. Webber’s and Miller’s point totals were part of a 52-32 advantage for Sacramento on points in the paint.
Sacramento has scored at least 100 points 41 times this season and is 35-6 in those games. The Kings improved to an impressive 29-5 as the host this season.
Miller has averaged 16.7 points, 13 rebounds and 3.7 assists in his last three contests. He has registered double digits in rebounding in four straight games.
The Kings play the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two teams. Sacramento is 1-2 against the Blazers.
