San Antonio Spurs Team Report - December 24

(Basketball News) - Manu Ginobili netted 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting, while Tim Duncan recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds, as the San Antonio Spurs rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to earn a 96-82 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday at the SBC Center.

Tony Parker also had 19 points and dished out eight assists for the Spurs, who outscored the Timberwolves 31-17 in the fourth quarter to register their fifth win in six outings.

Ginobili has scored in double-digits in five straight games. He is averaging 16.8 points and six rebounds in that span.

The Spurs are off until Sunday when they host Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics. It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the teams. On November 19th, the Spurs defeated the Celtics, 92-84, at the FleetCenter.
