(Basketball News) - San Antonio has split a pair of contests on its current three-game East coast road trip, including a 100-96 loss to the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
Tim Duncan collected 35 points, 15 rebounds and five assists for the Spurs, who dropped to 1-3 on the road this season.
Duncan left the game briefly in the third quarter to have his left ankle re- taped, but returned for the fourth quarter. The All-Star forward has already missed three games due to a sprained left ankle this season.
Manu Ginobili scored 21 points and handed out eight assists in the loss, while Tony Parker added 19 points and seven helpers. San Antonio has dropped four straight in Philadelphia.
The Spurs shot just 37.5-percent from the floor. They missed 15 straight field goals in a stretch that lasted from 3:38 left in the third quarter to 7:54 remaining in the fourth.
San Antonio returns to the court to take on the Washington Wizards on Saturday night. The Spurs have won seven of the last nine contests in the series with the Wizards overall.
