(Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics ended a three-game losing streak on Sunday with a 97-80 win over the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center.
Rashard Lewis scored 12 of his 22 points in the win for the Sonics, who posted just their second win in their last seven games. Vladimir Radmanovic added 19 points and 11 rebounds off the bench in the win, while Vitaly Potapenko scored 17 for Seattle, which had 27 assists on 34 baskets.
Coach Nate McMillan used 11 players Sunday and nine scored.
The Sonics, who began a four-game road trip on Sunday, won or the first time in four games and picked up just their second victory in eight tries on the road, while improving to 11-16 away from home this season.
Seattle beat the Rockets for the third time this season and won for the third time in its last four and fifth time in its last seven visits to Houston.
The Sonics will return to action on Tuesday in Dallas. Seattle lost to the Mavericks earlier in the year and has lost six of the last eight matchups. The Sonics have also lost three straight and four of their last five in Dallas.
Seattle is just 3-10 in Tuesday games this season.
