(Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics play the third leg of a four-game road trip tonight as they visit the San Antonio Spurs at the SBC Center.
This is the third meeting of the season between the two squads. The Spurs won both games, which were played at KeyArena. The Spurs have won five straight over the Sonics, who have lost six of seven and nine of their last 11 at San Antonio.
Seattle is 1-1 on the current road swing. On Tuesday, the SuperSonics lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 107-96, at American Airlines Center. Ray Allen scored 25 points to lead Seattle, which has lost four of its last five games, while Rashard Lewis had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort.
Allen has averaged 25.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists in his last five games.
Lewis has scored in double digits in 22 of his last 23 games. He is averaging 16.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in the last four contests.
The Sonics, who have lost three of their last four on the road, are just 11-17 as the visitor this season.
