Shaq is back for Game 1

Miami, FL (Basketball News) - The Miami Heat had center Shaquille O’Neal in the starting lineup Sunday for their Eastern Conference playoff game against the New Jersey Nets.

O’Neal missed the final two games of the regular season with a bruised right thigh. The top-seeded Heat won their final three games of the season anyway, securing a franchise-record 59 victories.

In his first season with Miami, the 1999-00 league MVP averaged 22.9 points and 10.4 rebounds with 171 blocked shots.
