Shaq misses Wizards-Heat game

Miami, FL (Basketball News) - Miami center Shaquille O’Neal was left off the active roster for the Heat’s game against the Washington Wizards Wednesday.

O’Neal attended his grandfather’s funeral in New Jersey Tuesday. He also missed Tuesday’s contest against Charlotte.

A groin injury kept Udonis Haslem out for the Heat Wednesday.

Miami entered Wednesday’s action with a 2 1/2 game lead on the Wizards atop the Southeast Division. A victory would give the Heat the division title.
