Last season, Stack served as an advance scout with the New York Knicks. Prior to that, he spent three campaigns as an assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers.
Stack also enjoyed a 13-year stint with the Bulls as a scout, special assistant to the vice president of basketball operations and assistant VP of basketball operations. During his tenure in Chicago, the club captured six NBA championships.
Stack was selected by the Houston Rockets in the sixth round of the 1983 NBA Draft. He spent five years playing professionally with teams in Belgium, Israel and France.
