Stoudemire to miss three games

East Rutherford, NJ (Basketball News) - Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire is expected to miss the next three games with a sprained left ankle.

Stoudemire did not return to action after landing awkwardly going for a rebound in the Suns’ 110-106 comeback victory over Boston on Friday.

X-rays were negative, but Stoudemire returned to Phoenix for further evaluation while the team continues its four-game road trip.

Last year’s Rookie of the Year is averaging 15.6 points and nine rebounds on the year.
