Zach Randolph led the Trail Blazers with 23 points on 6-of-14 shooting with 12 rebounds and Ime Udoka had 14 points. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 12 points and Juan Dixon added 11 in defeat for Portland, which is 1-5 on the road this season.
The Nets, meanwhile, have won two straight and three of their last four games, including Friday’s 100-91 win over the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Vince Carter had 28 points and seven rebounds to lead the Nets. Nenad Krstic added 18 points and seven boards, while Jason Kidd chipped in 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the winning effort.
Portland and New Jersey split a pair of games last season.
The Blazers have won four of the last six meetings in the series, but have dropped two straight and four of the last five trips to Continental Airlines Arena.
