Nets rally past Warriors 12.18.2006

Kidd ended with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists, as New Jersey snapped a two-game skid, but beat the Warriors at home for a ninth straight time.
Baron Davis had 25 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, but also turned the ball over eight times for Golden State, which has lost all three contests on its current six-game road trip.
Andris Biedrins hit a free throw for a 65-54 Golden State lead with 8:32 left in the third quarter and the Warriors led 84-78 going into the final quarter.
However, the Nets used a 19-2 run to take the lead and control of the game in the fourth quarter. Mike Dunleavy’s layup to start the fourth boosted Golden State to an eight-point advantage, but the Nets responded in a big way. Bostjan Nachbar’s layup tied the game at 88 with 8:14 left and his free throw gave the Nets the lead for good less than two minutes later. Vince Carter’s two free throws capped the flurry with 5:04 left at 97-88, and the Warriors didn’t threaten down the stretch.
Richard Jefferson had 15 points and Nachbar 13 for the Nets.
Monta Ellis scored 19 for the Warriors, while Dunleavy ended with 18 points and 10 boards.
The Nets bolted to a 13-4 lead, with eight of those points coming from Krstic. However, Golden State closed the gap to 15-13 later in the quarter following a Jason Richardson jam. Carter’s reverse dunk near the end of the quarter boosted the Nets to a 28-26 edge.
It was tight throughout most of the second quarter, but the Warriors established a 53-49 lead at the break thanks to seven straight points to end the half. Dunleavy had 12 points and Matt Barnes 11 for the Warriors, while Krstic had a huge first 24 minutes with 20 points and seven boards.
