New Orleans Hornets Team Report - December 5

(Basketball News) - The New Orleans Hornets suffered another defeat on Saturday night against the defending NBA champion Detroit Pistons.

Ben Wallace scored a career-high 22 points with eight rebounds in his second game back from suspension to lead Detroit at New Orleans Arena.

Lee Nailon scored 18 points to lead the Hornets, who have lost six straight since their only win of the season on November 22 at Utah. Nailon was held scoreless after halftime.

David Wesley added 14 points in the loss, and Alex Garcia had 11.

The Hornets will battle the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night at the Toyota Center.
