(Basketball News) - Orlando posted a 122-113 win over the Los Angeles Lakers at TD Waterhouse Centre on Friday night.
Steve Francis finished with 32 points, nine assists and eight rebounds to lead the Magic to the victory. Grant Hill contributed 27 points and 12 rebounds for the Magic, who snapped a three-game losing streak in the series and have won two of their last three overall. Hedo Turkoglu added 23 points off the bench.
Pat Garrity posted 21 points for Orlando, which responded with a 24-6 surge to overcome an 18 point deficit early in the second quarter. Hill notched eight of the points, and a fast-break dunk by Garrity forced a 45-45 tie with 4:12 to play in the second.
Dwight Howard pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds for the Magic, whose bench posted a 54-13 scoring advantage.
Before the game, the Magic placed forward Michael Bradley was placed on the injured list with patella tendinitis in his right knee. They activated center Mario Kasun from the injured list.
The Magic return to the court on Sunday afternoon against Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.
