On Sunday, Indiana was run over by the San Antonio Spurs, who walked away with a 92-88 road win. Stephen Jackson netted 17 points for the Pacers, who lost for the first time in five games.
Peja Stojakovic added 16 points and eight rebounds while Fred Jones had 12 points off the bench in the loss.
Indiana continued to play without guard Jamaal Tinsley (elbow) and forward Austin Croshere (concussion). Both players are expected to miss tonight’s affair. The Pacers are already without star forward Jermaine O’Neal, who could miss up to two months with a groin injury.
The Pacers, who will close this stand against New Orleans/Oklahoma City when they come out of the All-Star break, are 16-8 in their arena this season.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, comes in on a winning note after Michael Redd poured in 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field to lift the Bucks past the Seattle SuperSonics, 106-91, on Tuesday at the Bradley Center.
Joe Smith added 18 points off the bench while Bobby Simmons had 15 for the Bucks, who have won two of their last three games. Simmons was 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.
Rookie Andrew Bogut contributed 10 points and five rebounds in the win.
Milwaukee, which will host New Jersey on Tuesday out of the break, is 10-15 away from home this season.
Indiana has split its two matchups with the Bucks this season, but has won three of four and four of the last seven meetings. Milwaukee has also dropped two straight, three of four and six of the last eight as the road team in this series.
