(Basketball News) - The Portland Trail Blazers were crushed by the San Antonio Spurs, 114-80, on Thursday at the Rose Garden.
Darius Miles collected 17 points and six boards for the Trail Blazers, who have dropped three of their last four. Zach Randolph ended with 10 points and six rebounds, while Shareef Abdur-Rahim contributed 14 points and a game-high 10 boards.
Last season, the Spurs swept their four meetings with the Blazers. Overall, San Antonio has won seven straight and eight of the last 11 contests. The last time the Blazers defeated the Spurs was on January 9, 2003, at the Rose Garden.
Randolph has scored in double-digits in all 27 of Portland’s games this season. He leads the team in scoring (20.4 ppg) and rebounding (10.6 rpg).
The Blazers are off until Saturday when they host the Golden State Warriors. It will be the second meeting of the season between the squads. On November 3, the Blazers beat the Warriors, 78-75, at The Arena in Oakland.
