(Basketball News) - Derek Anderson scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Portland Trail Blazers over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 92-83, on Sunday at the Target Center.
Zach Randolph added 20 points and 11 boards for the Trail Blazers, who won their third straight game. The Blazers improves to 2-7 in Sunday games this season.
Portland is 12-21 on the road this season
The Blazers are off until Tuesday when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks. Earlier this season, the Bucks defeated the Blazers, 106-99, on December 16, 2003 at the Rose Garden.
Anderson has averaged 15 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists in his last five games.
Randolph has scored in double digits in 13 straight games. He has averaged 18.9 points and 10.7 rebounds in that span.
