(Basketball News) - The Portland Trail Blazers attempt to win their fifth straight game tonight, as they visit the Central Division-leading Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Blazers are tied with the Utah Jazz for ninth place in the Western Conference playoff race, 1 1/2 games behind the Denver Nuggets. Portland is 13-21 on the road this season.
Portland has won four straight and six of the last seven meetings against the Pacers. The Trail Blazers have won two of their last three at Indiana.
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two squads. On December 3, 2003, the Blazers beat the Pacers, 97-95, in overtime at the Rose Garden.
On Tuesday, Damon Stoudamire’s jumper in the lane with 6/10ths of a second remaining lifted Portland to a 100-99 triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.
Stoudamire finished with 14 points and Zach Randolph added 16 with 11 rebounds for Portland, which has won four straight. Derek Anderson and Darius Miles each netted 20 points for the Blazers.
