Prince, Hamilton key rout of Raptors

Auburn Hills, MI (Basketball News) - Tayshaun Prince scored 27 points and Richard Hamilton added 18 points in Detroit’s 117-84 rout of the Toronto Raptors at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Seven Pistons scored in double figures, and Detroit used a huge first quarter and dominating run in the third to remain unbeaten after three games this season.

Ben Wallace had 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Maurice Evans added 13 points. Chauncey Billups finished with 11 points, while Carlos Arroyo and Carlos Delfino each scored 10.

Jalen Rose had 25 points for Toronto, which has lost five in a row at Detroit. Morris Peterson added 17 points, while Mike James and Chris Bosh each tallied 12 points for the Raptors, who have lost their first three contests of the season.
