An MRI showed swelling in the knee and the Minnesota product is expected to miss the next four to six weeks.
Przybilla, who left Friday’s victory over Washington, has averaged 4.0 points and 8.4 rebounds for the Hawks in 12 games since coming over in a three- team trade from Milwaukee on February 15.
He was selected by the Houston Rockets in the first round (ninth pick overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft before his rights were traded from Houston to Milwaukee for the rights to Jason Collier and a future first-round pick.
In a related move, the Hawks signed re-signed center Mamadou N’diaye for the remainder of the season.
