Toronto comes into tonight’s game with a perfect 4-0 record since it acquired swingman Jalen Rose and forwards Donyell Marshall and Lonny Baxter from the Chicago Bulls for center Antonio Davis and forwards Jerome Williams and Chris Jefferies.
On Sunday, Vince Carter scored 30 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, as the Raptors rallied late en route to a 108-98 win over the Seattle SuperSonics at the Air Canada Centre. Rose and Chris Bosh each registered double- doubles for the Raptors.
Bosh finished with 22 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, while Rose collected 18 points and 10 assists in the victory.
The Raptors, who have won four of their last five on the road, are 4-6 as the visitor this season.
The Cavaliers, who come into tonight’s contest fresh off a home victory, will be playing the second of a four-game homestand tonight.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 19 points and eight rebounds to lead Cleveland past Atlanta, 95-85, at Gund Arena on Saturday. With the win the Cavaliers halted an eight-game losing streak.
Jason Kapono added a career-high 16 points off the bench, while the rookie phenom James finished with eight points, six boards and five assists for the Cavaliers, who have won all five of their games at home.
Darius Miles had 15 points off the pine and Carlos Boozer chipped in 12 and 10 rebounds in the win for the Cavs, who ended a six-game skid against Atlanta.
The Cavaliers are 5-3 at home.
In 2002-03, Cleveland won three of the four meetings with the Raptors, winning twice at home and once at Air Canada Centre.
Overall, these two teams have split the last six contests. Toronto has lost two straight and three of its last four at Cleveland.
