Raptors stop off in Milwaukee

(Basketball News) - The Milwaukee Bucks try to end a two-game losing streak this afternoon when they host the Toronto Raptors at the Bradley Center.

Milwaukee, currently seeded seventh in the Eastern Conference playoff race, suffered a 101-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

Michael Redd netted 20 points and pulled down seven boards and Charlie Bell added 15 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in the loss for the Bucks, who have dropped three of their last five games.

The Bucks have won three straight at home and are 20-14 at the Bradley Center this season.

Toronto, meanwhile, has won three of its last four games and five of seven, including Friday’s 97-77 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Chris Bosh celebrated his 22nd birthday in style, scoring 17 points and pulling down 15 rebounds at the Air Canada Centre.

Morris Peterson led all scorers with 21 points for the Raptors. Mike James tallied 18 points, while Matt Bonner contributed 10 points and grabbed a career-high 12 boards.

The Raptors will hit the road where they are 2-7 in their last nine. Toronto owns a 12-23 record away from the Air Canada Centre this season.

Sunday’s game is the third and final meeting of the season between Toronto and Milwaukee. Both teams have split a pair of matchups this season, while Milwaukee has won three of the last six meetings.

Toronto has won five of its last seven at Milwaukee.
