Raptors visit Pacers

The Pacers closed out their first winless road trip of three games or more since last December on Tuesday, as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 99-86 decision to the San Antonio Spurs.

Jermaine O’Neal had 26 points and seven rebounds while Jamaal Tinsley chipped in 20 points for the Pacers, who started the trek with losses to Cleveland and Dallas after a three-game winning streak.

Indiana held a 48-46 advantage at the break thanks in part to hitting 12-of-19 shots from the floor. However, the hot shooting disappeared in the second half, as the Pacers missed 21-of-31 shots over the final 24 minutes.

The Pacers, who will close their stand against Seattle on Monday, are 9-3 in their arena this season.

Toronto, meanwhile, comes into tonight’s tilt on a rare winning note after Morris Peterson tallied a season-high 26 points and backcourt mate Mike James scored 28 points and dished out nine assists to lead the Raptors past the Atlanta Hawks, 108-102, on Wednesday at Air Canada Centre.

Chris Bosh added 15 points and six boards a day after he torched the Detroit Pistons for a career-high 37 points and Charlie Villanueva contributed 12 points off the bench for Toronto, which snapped a two-game losing streak.

The Raptors, who will close a two-game road trip in Atlanta on Tuesday, are 5-10 away from home this season.

Toronto lost two of three to the Pacers last season and has dropped six of the last seven meetings. The Raptors are also a dismal 4-16 in Indiana.
