Rockets swap Norris for Lampe

Houston, TX (Basketball News) - The Houston Rockets acquired forward Maciej Lampe from the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets in exchange for guard Moochie Norris on Monday.

Originally selected with the 30th pick of the 2003 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, the 6-foot-11 Lampe has seen action in just two games for the Hornets this season.

Lampe has tallied 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 60 career games with the Hornets and Phoenix Suns.

Norris, a 6-foot-1 guard, has averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 29 games with the Rockets this year. Over nine seasons he has appeared in 429 games and averages 5.2 points and 2.0 rebounds a game.
