Andre Miller had 29 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for the 76ers (35-47). Joe Smith finished with 26 points and 11 boards for Philadelphia.
Luke Jackson scored a career-high 30 points on 12-of-16 shooting and Chris Bosh added 23 points and nine boards, for the Raptors (47-35), who lost their final two games of the season after a row since their six-game winning streak. Andrea Bargnani donated 17 points in his first game after missing 14 because of an appendectomy for Toronto.
Green hit back-to-back triples to give the 76ers a 118-112 lead with 1:13 to go.
Jackson then got Toronto within four with a layup, but Miller’s layup put Philadelphia right back up six with 46 ticks left.
Jackson’s drilled a three to cut the margin to three with 3.5 seconds showing on the clock. Miller, however, made two shots from the charity stripe to ice the win.
Philadelphia led 64-57 at the half, but went a 17-5 run in the third to take a 80-75 lead midway through the third. The 76ers were able to tie it at 86-86 at the end of three quarters.
Trailing 103-97, Philadelphia scored eight straight points to take a 105-103 lead with 5:37 left to play.
