Sonics flip Murray onto injured list

Murray is sidelined with a strained left quadriceps muscle. An MRI Thursday revealed swelling around the muscle, prompting the team to make the move. Murray will miss at least the next five games for the Sonics.

To fill the roster spot, the club signed guard Mateen Cleaves. The former Michigan State standout was one of the team’s final cuts in the preseason.
