All-Star Ray Allen tallied a game-high 32 points to lead the SuperSonics to a convincing 104-87 victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday at KeyArena.
Allen, who made 3-of-9 shots from beyond the arc, tied Dale Ellis for second on the all-time list for three-pointers made with 1,719. Chris Wilcox finished with 26 points and a career-high 24 rebounds, while Luke Ridnour and Rashard Lewis scored 10 apiece.
Seattle is 11-25 on the road this season.
The Trail Blazers try to win back-to-back games for the first time since winning four in a row from January 11-18. On Wednesday, Zach Randolph scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Portland to a 76-75 victory over the Rockets at the Rose Garden.
Voshon Lenard registered 14 points in the win over Houston for Portland, which snapped a season-worst 11-game losing streak. Juan Dixon and Sebastian Telfair both had 13 points in the victory.
Portland is 15-22 at home this season.
Seattle has won two of the three meetings between the clubs this season. The Sonics have won two straight after losing their last five at Portland.
