Stan Van Gundy Laughs at Theo Ratliff’s Comments

One day after the Pistons and Magic players traded comments that could be classified as light trash-talk, Van Gundy said he hoped the verbal war wouldn’t distract his team from the real battle on the court.

He had to chuckle when he saw who made the comments on the Pistons’ end — center Theo Ratliff.

"I’m not bringing up any names," Van Gundy said, "but sometimes it’s pretty amusing to me that the guys who talk are sometimes not exactly key players." [Detroit Free Press]
