Memphis, currently seeded sixth in the Western Conference playoff race, made it six straight with Friday’s 91-75 win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Pau Gasol poured in 36 points and Mike Miller chipped in 15 points for Memphis, which will now host Charlotte and Seattle at FedEx Forum.
The Grizzlies have won five straight and seven of eight as the host and own a 24-10 record at home this season.
Meanwhile, Charlotte has lost two in a row and six of their last seven games.
On Friday, the Bobcats suffered a 114-93 setback to the Miami Heat. Raymond Felton had a team-high 23 points and Brevin Knight added 17 points and six assists for the Bobcats.
Charlotte will conclude a brief three-game road trip in Memphis and has lost five in a row as the guest. It is a dismal 6-30 away from Charlotte Bobcats Arena this season.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Bobcats are scheduled to host Memphis on April 12th at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Memphis has won the two contests between the teams.
