Philadelphia put together a solid fourth quarter to down Phoenix by a 99-94 score at the Wachovia Center and have posted five straight wins at home — all without two of its best players.
The Sixers, who ended a three-game slide versus Phoenix, again played without All-Star guard Iverson, who is bothered by inflammation in his right knee. Iverson, the team’s leading scorer, has now missed a career-high 24 contests this season and the 76ers are 11-13 without him.
Jackson, meanwhile, is hampered with an injured foot and missed his 47th game of the season. According to head coach Chris Ford, Jackson had a hard cast put on the foot and will most likely miss the rest of the campaign.
