Golden State is going to miss the playoffs for a 12th straight year. The Warriors last qualfied for the postseason in 1994, when the club won 50 games and was led by Chris Mullin, Latrell Sprewell and Chris Webber.
On Tuesday, the Memphis Grizzlies hope to continue to close in on their third straight playoff berth when they host the Warriors at the FedExForum. Memphis is No. 6 in the Western Conference playoff race and is one game behind the fifth-seeded Clippers.
It is the third and final meeting of the season between the Grizzlies and Warriors. The Grizzlies won the two previous contests as they picked up wins at home and on the road.
Golden State has lost three straight and five of its last six at the Grizzlies, who have won three straight and six of the last seven contests in this series.
