(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors try to make it two straight wins this evening when they face Steve Francis and the Orlando Magic at the TD Waterhouse Centre.
Last night, Jalen Rose put Toronto ahead with a pair of free throws in the closing seconds and finished with 24 points as the Raptors held off the Miami Heat for a 94-92 win at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Donyell Marshall added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors, who snapped a six-game road losing streak with the victory. Chris Bosh helped out with 12 points and 10 boards in the win.
Toronto connected on 7-of-its-21 shots from three-point range in the win. Speaking of shots from beyond the arc, the Raptors have a three-pointer in 466 straight games, currently the best streak in the league.
Toronto, which is in the midst of a six-game road trip, is just 2-7 away from home this season.
Last year Toronto took two of its three meetings with the Magic and has won three of five and four of the last seven matchups. The Raptors have also won two of three in Orlando.
