Toronto Raptors Team Report - December 27

(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors were defeated by the Phoenix Suns, 106-94, on Sunday at America West Arena.

Jalen Rose paced Toronto with 19 points. Chris Bosh had 18 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors, who have dropped 10 of their last 13 contests. Lamond Murray finished with 14 points in the loss.

Toronto point guard Rafer Alston finished with 13 points and three assists in the loss.

Rose has scored in double-digits in five straight games. He is averaging 16.4 points in that span.

The Raptors are off until Tuesday when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers for the second contest of their three-game road trip. Toronto will finish its road trip on Wednesday in Oakland against the Golden State Warriors.
