Toronto Raptors Team Report - November 15 11.15.2003
|
(Basketball News) - The Raptors’ offense nearly disappeared on Friday night in a 94-64 loss to the Sacramento Kings.
Vince Carter and Lamond Murray each had 13 as the Raptors lost all three contests on their three-game road trip. Toronto is now 0-5 as the visitors this season.
Despite trailing by just six at the half, Toronto’s offensive problems came to the forefront in the third quarter. By hitting just 5-of-20 shots for 10 points in the third quarter, the Raptors opened the door for the Kings to blow open the contest.
Toronto hit 34 percent of their field-goal attempts (27-of-80). The Raptors outscored Sacramento 16-12 in the second quarter, but were outscored by 24 points in the second half.
The Raptors return home to take on the Houston Rockets on Sunday afternoon.
